Selling supplements on Amazon UK: what you'll be asked for
Amazon applies its own rules on top of UK law, and supplement listings get reviewed more closely than most. Being ready with documents and compliant copy saves weeks.

What Amazon may ask for
- Clear images of every side of the label, matching the product you send in.
- A certificate of analysis for the batch, often from an independent lab.
- Your business details and, for some products, evidence the product can legally be sold in the UK.
- Genuine GS1 barcodes registered to your brand.
Requirements change and vary by category, so check Seller Central for the current list.
Listings follow the same claims rules
Titles, bullet points, descriptions and A+ content are advertising, so the GB health claims rules apply in full. Medicinal or unauthorised claims are the most common reason supplement listings are blocked. Read website claims vs packaging.
Make the listing match the label
- Use the same name, amounts and directions as the pack.
- Don't list nutrients or claims that aren't on the label.
- Keep images up to date when the artwork changes.
Be ready
Keep a file for each product: label artwork, recent certificates of analysis, specifications and your compliance check report. Our free C of A explainer helps you understand the certificates before you send them. Selling on TikTok too? Read selling supplements on TikTok Shop.
